From my description: “Scene - a peaceful study with a low fire in the fireplace. Two characters, as detailed below, sit on either side if the fireplace. Male human wizard - he’s in a contemplative pose (possibly wears wire-rim glasses), possibly with an open book on his lap, but he’s not looking at it - his thoughts are far away.”

I really enjoyed working on this side of the piece cause…well…I like paintin’ wizards and magickal stuff. The chair that he’s sitting in is based on a chair that my grandparents had while I was growing up. It had those festive wooden claw feet on it. With many of my pieces I like to have a little fun with it. If you look closely at the book that he’s holding, the spine say, “How to talk to Women” in basic Runic.
